31 weeks (last week)

I didn't get either of the pics of my belly posted last week - but I did get them taken so I can share them with you.  At 30 weeks I was feeling very large, swollen and achy.  I thought 10 more weeks was unfathomable.  But I got some energey back at 31 weeks and feel a little more myself (well as much as you can in your third trimester of pregnancy) so as we enter week 32 I'll catch up with week 31 and try to be back on track by the end of the week.

31 weeks
This picture was double chin angle again since Eric was sick and couldn't take it for me at the beginning of the week.  He was back in action by the end of the week so the Tiny Tiger picture is a little better.

31.5 weeks - supporting my Tigers - now 8-0 :)

Celebrating 3 years...

Today is our third anniversary.  As a 'big present' this year we are buying each other a camcorder (with baby approaching it seems like a good idea).  But an extra (not very welcome) present this morning, was Eric waking up with a fever.  :(  I took good care of him before I left leaving him out Tylenol, soup and a cool washrag, but on my way to work I decided to give myself a present...breakfast!  Lol!
I have been seeing these 'brown' nails all over the internet (pinterest anyone?!?) and realized I really like them - but they look like a latte to me.  (yum!) So yesterday I got myself some 'latte' nail polish and it made me really want some coffee this morning.  So what do you think of the nail polish? (disregard the crappy cell phone pic of it - and Dad - I already know you hate it!)

Anyway - I really like it and I think it complements the Starbucks cup pretty well (AND before any of you FREAK OUT about the amount of caffeine in a venti coffee and this pregnant lady be assured that I actually hit up McDonald's for the small Mocha Frappe - can you say chocolate coffee milkshake goodness?!? (and less caffeine too) - but the co-op who works beside me had this coffee and I just HAD to take the picture since the nail polish made me think of lattes!)
I was glad to have a small fun thing to focus on this morning... and tomorrow back to baby bump! :)

(Not so) Tiny Tiger

My 30+ week tiger is not so tiny as the cute counterpart pics from a few weeks ago, but he is dressed in orange again :)  I had the opportunity to travel to Clemson this week for work to speak with the WISE (Women in Science and Engineering group) about working for Club Car.  I was a good opportunity to leave just a smidgen early and get to Clemson in time to check out the shops for a maternity (or otherwise fitting) orange shirt.

The maternity shirts turned out to be shorter than this one (and covered in rhinestones... really?!?  What uber-pregnant lady wants to point herself out with flashy rhinestones?!?)  Anyway, this one was long enough and fit well enough in the medium - so Viola!  We are back in orange and supporting our Tigers to hopefully another win this weekend over Maryland!  GO TIGERS!

30 Weeks

I remedied the angle of the picture for this week - waaaay better.  I still think things really got alot bigger this week - but some outfits hide that better than others (luckily this is one of them - the drapey sweaters - KEY!) :)

Week 30 seemed to bring a very big change.  Most of what was still recognizably 'mine' on my body has disappeared.  Including my legs, ankles, feet etc.  From this angle my face is still sorta mine - but I'm rapidly losing that with the addition of each chin (from the other angle).  I've been very happy to 'share' my body with this little one, but it is apparent to me now that stage is over and I'll be giving up my body to whatever shape and size he requires for the next 10 weeks (hopefully at some point I get most of it back and will be recognizable again - only time will tell).

Out of Orange... and Orange Overload

Last Friday I still had to wear Clemson colors to support my team, but it was cooler than normal (thank goodness!) and I am out of orange outfits that fit.  :(  So I decided to try the purple on for size (um, literally b/c this isn't a maternity shirt - just something I had from last Fall that was long enough to cover the bump).  But anyway I gave it a go with some fun orange punches of color to see if it would still work to cheer my team on...

Since we are still undeafeated I will say it was a success.  (I think picture taking with a timer that is below my chin I would call an epic FAIL at this point - but we can remedy that angle next week...)

Moving on...

However, since I didnt have alot of orange to show for myself I thought I'd leave you with these great photos from the weekend that have ALOT more orange.  First my nephew (with his insanely red hair) in a pumpkin patch (with an orange shirt no-less!)...

Can you spot the real pumpkin?
Oh my goodness - isn't he the most precious thing ever?!?!

And then Eric and I were able to go to the Tennessee/Georgia game while we were in Knoxville this weekend  (thank you Ned and Jim!)  I didn't bring the camera - but we snapped this (pretty darn good!) phone pic.

Tennessee Orange is a slightly different hue than Clemson orange - but still we were amidst a sea of orange.  We fit in quite well although you can see I had a white shirt and just an orange scarf as my 'flair' to make sure they knew who I was routing for!  Still no all out orange to wear :(

There will be a much longer weekend update (and maybe some back tracking b/c I got so excited last week about the wedding that I forgot to finish my Ohio trip photos - and I can't miss an opportunity to show off my nephew!)

29 Weeks

Monday I ventured another week into this third trimester.  I also had my glucose test at my Dr. Visit (yuck!) - so we'll see how that turns out.  But 29 weeks came with very little change (except on the scale of course) and luckily a little bit of Fall weather.  Really looking forward to some cooler days the bigger I get (not looking forward to finding a coat to go around this... but we'll get there when we get there...)

Weekend Festivities - Part 3

The Reception! Well, the reception started right around 6pm - as did the HUGE Clemson game against VT.  So the iPad made its debut at the cocktail hour (live streaming the game...)

And luckily was well hid behind the centerpiece at our corner table as well...

And only went out once... at a very critical play in the third quarter...

Our Tigers pulled out a HUGE win though and we didn't miss too much of the reception checking the score and watching a few plays :)

Nick, Fran, Eric, Becky, Wilson, Josh

Allison and Josh

Susan and Schuette - letting their amazing personalities shine through!
Love them!!

Sara and Jeb

a slightly better pic of Susan and Schuette

Mr. and Mrs Lee Mitchell :)

Eric and I (and baby bump)

Peter, Lee and Schuette

In addition to all these good times, we also didn't miss out on the cake cutting ceremony.  It was a beautiful cake, and they were sweet and nice to each other (much to Josh's diappointment!)

Then things got a tad bit rowdy (or as rowdy as they can get when you are thirty and have pregnant ladies all around).  There was alot of fist pumping going on...

and the infamous 'serious face pose'

and then it was time for the bride and groom to make their exit (in STYLE this time...) including an old Rolls Royce and homebrewed (by the groom) beer for each wedding guest.

Matrimony Mocha Stout

As you can tell we had a GREAT time - and really enjoyed getting to celebrate this fantastic couple and spend time with good friends.  Congratulations to Lee and Cass!!  :)
