Shrimp Gumbo, Shrimp Creole, Fried Shrimp....

I might have mentioned before that we were going shrimping (every weekend!) This weekend was no exception. We can't make all the yummy shrimp dishes that Bubba mentions if we don't have a bag of shrimp for every week for the next year (right now we only have a bag of shrimp for every other week for the next year...lol).
Anyway, this weekend was great because we got to go to Edisto and meet up with my best friend and her family at their beach house! (more to come on that later *wink*) We had such a good time with them and the kids, and her parents (thanks Mom Bob for all your help!).

As you can see, Edisto is just gorgeous

and shirmping is king...


and we had alot more luck catching shrimp (warning - grossness ahead!)

We also had photographers taking pictures of us (Brandy from the other boat) - so its kinda nice to see us on our boat and to see me actually shrimping too!


We had a great time! Two more weekends left (for us) then we celebrate an anniversary :) and get to see my little brother - yeah!! :) Looking forward to all that - but all you will be getting for awhile on here is shrimp scampi, shrimp and grits, shrimp kabobs...
